Well Done, High-quality 13″ Plate with Tusks – SOLD

This beautiful plate is in an unknown pattern – it’s similar to some Hoare and Bergen designs but I have not been able to identify it. The quality of the piece is very high.

An unusual form of cane, with one hob and one diamond shaped point weaves throughout the tray.  They criss-cross and meet and flat hobstars while framing deeper ones throughout the piece. In the center of the plate,  there are clear tusks converging and the edge of the piece has deeply cut hobstars.

The plate is in perfect condition and measures 13 1/4″ in diameter and 1 1/2″ tall. It has a nice, silky polish and a clear blank.
