Stunning Gold/Amber Cut to Clear Wine Stem SOLD |
Needless to say, colored stems have been one of the most popular items for many years. The reasons are plentiful – they don’t take up much room and provide an interesting splash of color to our mostly clear collections. They’re also rare. What we see most of in ABP glass is green and cranberry. This gold or amber color is particularly hard to find and was likely made by Hawkes or Dorflinger.
The Russian design drapes around the exterior of the bowl with intersecting lines in all directions. They provide clear buttons which show off the color all the more. The stem is fluted while the base is rayed.
The wine glass is in perfect condition and measures 4 3/4″ tall and 2 3/4″ wide. It’s in perfect condition.
Company: Hawkes or Dorflinger
