Spectacular J. Hoare Kohinoor Bowl – SOLD

This bowl is cut and signed by J. Hoare in their very rare and always desirable Kohinoor design. Kohinoor came in two renditions – one features all perpendicular miters whereas this one they intersect at nearly 45 degree angles – which allows for more miters and more hobstars. I think it’s far more brilliant and impressive.

The amount of relief and depth achieved from these thing, triple miter cuts are unbelievable. Each tiny hobstar comes off the bowl especially around the curved portions.

The condition of the bowl is perfect and it’s on a perfectly clear blank. It’s also quite heavy and sharp and measures 9″ wide and 3″ tall.
