Magnificent Quality Dorflinger Victor Roseglobe – SOLD

Victor is one of Dorflinger’s nicest patterns. Deep, vibrant cutting is wood-wheel polished to perfection.

The beautiful Victor pattern consists of two chains of hobstars both around the top and bottom of the pattern. The top chain has clear buttons while the bottom chain is completely filled in with fans. In between the two chains is notched prism cutting with varying widths of clear glass in between each one. This creates the beautiful light catching mechanism that almost appears like icicles. The base of this piece is finished with a gorgeous 16-point hobstar and its points actually run into the recesses of the bottom hobstar chain. points . Every inch of the cutting was smoothed over to radiant like brilliance with a wood-wheel. It’s just incredible Dorflinger work.

The roseglobe is on the clearest of blanks and measures 6 1/4″ wide and 5 3/4″ tall. It’s in stunningly perfect condition with no chips or flakes even. Again, this jewel with sparkle with the utmost radiance in your display because of the wonderful polish and quality of glass that Dorflinger was able to produce.
