I have only been able to offer a handful of pieces in Puritana over the years – it’s definitely one of Libbey’s rarest designs. This one is signed with the Libbey trademark on the neck.
A hobstar graces the front of the decanter and is flanked by strawberry diamond fields which lead into a large diamonds of wide cane cutting. Fans are collecting like sheaths of wheat towards the upper portion while crosshatching gathers towards the base. The base is covered with a rayed star.
The cute cabinet piece measures 10 3/4″ wide and 4″ wide. It is in perfect condition with one tiny little nick on the stopper. The blank is exceptionally clear.
