Very Rare J. Hoare Manitou Carafe – SOLD

The Manitou pattern is one of Hoare’s best and rarest patterns. It is one of their old designs and as a result is on a wonderful blank and beautifully wood-wheel polished.

The carafe has deeply cut hobstars which are square off on all sides in an octagonal formation. There are rayed traingular fields surrounding it. Sitting above are clear tusks which converge at a fanned field with more deep hobstars sitting atop a section of hobnail.

The carafe is on a stunning, clear blank and is wood wheel polished. It is in perfect condition and measurers 8 3/4″ tall and 5 1/2″ wide.
