Stunning Hawkes Teutonic Rose Globe SOLD

This rose globe shows what Hawkes was able to do best – contrast with clear and brilliantly cut glass. This globe was cut in Teutonic and is signed with the Hawkes trademark on the base.

Alternating panels of hobstar chains, and deeply cut flutes alternate around the perimeter of the globe. So much glass is cut away on the flutes, that it gives the piece an angular look – it is mesmerizing. The rose globe is finished with a 20-point hobstar base.

The rose globe is in perfect condition and measures 5 1/4″ tall and 6″ wide. The blank is of the very highest quality and is completely clear and devoid of flaws.
