Giant Overzied Hawkes Holland Cologne Bottle – SOLD

This is a very large cologne bottle, with original stopper, in Hawkes’ Holland design. Both pieces are signed with the Hawkes’ trademark.

A huge eight-pointed star sits atop a point of crosshatching. In between each one are two stacked, deep hobstars framed on either side with fan cutting. The base is covered with a fanned star and the stopper is lapidary cut.

This cologne is nearly twice the size of most – measuring nearly 8″ tall and 5″ wide. The blank, as with most pieces of Holland, is exceptionally clear.
