Extremely Well-Done Bergen Dallas Pitcher – SOLD

This gorgeous pitcher is cut by Bergen in their Dallas design. They cut two patterns on this blank – this being the more expensive of the two. The pitcher has a great deal of heft and the blank is extremely clear. Every ounce of effort was poured into this piece – both the handle and spout are cut in pattern.

The focal point of the Dallas pattern is a double mitered florence-style hobstar. Bands of cane frame that star and connect at flat hobstar points. The cane cutting also lays the framework for a large field of notched prism. Stair cutting leads up to the rim which is cut in graduating hobstars and hobnail. Even the handle is fully cut with 8-pointed stars going down it. The base is covered with a 24-point hobstar.

The pitcher is in perfect condition and measures 8″ tall and over 7″ wide. The glass extremely clear and the piece almost seems oversized and very heavy!
